Belio started in 1999 as an experimental art magazine in Spain, since then the ideas has been growing and nowadays Belio is big project that includes an art and design publishing house, organization of events such as festivals, workshops, conferences and art exhibitions and a website, always featuring the most cutting-edge artists, designers, illustrators, musicians, video makers, graffiti writers, etc. At the same time Belio can be much more: A platform open to develop any kind of project related to any kind of emerging art tendency.
The most popular side of Belio has been the magazine that evolved into a collection of books after its 10th anniversary. Other successful publications have been the Die Young Collection (artists featured: San, Btoy, SatOne, Nicholas Di Genova, 36Recyclab, Besdo Garsía, Erone + Amose, Saner and Gualicho), Monztaaah! about street-art characters and illustration, or Pencilbreak, the first and only book compiling art and designs about the breakcore music scene.
