Neurotitan Gallery
neurotitan Gallery is the heart of the cultural association Schwarzenberg e.V ., that promotes unconventional art by providing bright and beautiful presentation rooms in one of the most-frequented quarters of the city. The gallery is created as a testing ground for young and/ or unknown artists and gives them the opportunity to present their work to the public. It is one node in a multinational network of artists moving between subculture and avant-garde, but generally located outside the established art world.
The first exhibition took place in early 1996 and since that time the bright 300 square meters are hosting more than twelve exhibitions a year. Urban art, comic art, illustration and painting dominate the picture. Performances, book presentations and small concerts, as well as collaborations with various festivals make the program complete.
neurotitan is nowadays linked to individual artists and groups from around the world and is well known as a constitutive part of Berlin’s alternative art scene.
The neurotitan shop is located on the same floor. It offers a selection of goods from Berlin and all over the world, screen printing originals, posters, comics, videos, T-shirts and other accessories included.
