This is an amazing video by Andrew Wonder (Director/Cinematographer), who went to explore the NYC underground with urban historian Steve Duncan last summer. UNDERCITY from Andrew Wonder on Vimeo. Who needs nature when these amazing, almost untouched, areas lie right underneath our feed? It speaks for itself that you shouldn’t try this at home, right?! Luckily Steve and Andrew just completed another underground expedition with Norwegian explorer Erling Kagge. It was featured in a three page article on the front page of the NY Times metro section and was written by Alan Feuer. They were also covered by NPR’s Jacki Lyden whose report will be aired on 1/2/11 and posted on NPR’s site.
