I just came back from the exhbition and would like to show you all the artworks by Mr.Matzke.

Die Kupferdiebe Gallery from Hamburg celebrates the opening of the new exhibition by Robert Matzke today!
This gallery is definetely one of our favourite places in Hamburg – they are strong supporters of the “Gaengeviertel”. This quarter was squatted by artists and like-minded people to protest against gentrification in Hamburg in the last years.
Die Kupferdiebe opened their gallery to show talented artists and to connect like-minded people here.

Robert Matzke is a well-known illustrator from Germany who will show his artworks from tonight until the 29th of may. Always critical, always good ideas and very funny – this mixture makes this exhibition outstanding.

He started drawing and doodeling in his early years and went on with graffiti. After school he was looking for an university that combines all his interests as good as possible and he started to study illustrations in Münster. He graduated in 2007 and since then he works as a freelance designer and artist.
