Drago has been involved in the street urban movement for the past twenty-five years, as an international
think-tank of artists, collectors, ideas dealers, traffickers of information, style pushers and chameleons
from different worlds, all acting together. It identifies trends, promotes artists, develops communication
projects, publishes books, stages exhibitions and events, and acts for companies and individuals as art
consultants and as a trend bureau.

While entering its second decade, we are still at the dawn of the new millennium. A time of cultural
alchemy, great changes, great challenges, and great innovations that pass through new trends and new
styles created by independent countercultures. The time of NEWE – Neue Welt (New World). The time
of NUBAS (new barbarians). The street is the matrix of today’s leading visual and cultural aesthetic. It
connects the urban movement with the web and serves as the messenger of a democratic and popular
culture. The power of this global movement comes from being connected through the Internet and creating
a system that reflects the Remix of Pop cultures (REP), where under is over e over is under. Re-mix. Re-

Drago defines for the first time that system as the SystemA of Independent Culture (or Street Independent
Culture), called sic!, the virus of a world in Re – evolution.
sic! transit gloria mundi, thus passes the glory of the world. What a wonder-fool world!
Drago acts as the gatekeeper of this mindset and future style that links culture to society.
The urban street movement, defined as sic!, is the only mainstream of minorities. The future lives on the
streets, as the streets are the perfect representation of youth, progress, speed, civil society, the people,
and our cities. For streets have become the largest cutting edge museum in the world.
