The Neonchocolate Gallery was founded in May 2010 by Uwe Neu and Oliver Thoben.
Up to three artists share the rooms of the Neonchocolate Gallery for a period of one week and visitors are invited to a viewing of their works each Saturday evening. Since the opening of the gallery space, over 100 exhibitions have been held featuring up-and-coming young artists as well as more established figures in the fields of illustration, photography, design, urban art, painting and collage. For diverse exhibitions the gallery works in collaboration with curators, amongst them Professor Lukas Feireiss and Henrik Hellige of the Gestalten publishing company.
